The Tarmac Junior Development Program began in 2010 as an incentive from the Motorsport Australia (SA) State Motor Racing Panel, modelled on the successful Southern Districts Car Club Junior Development Program and run by the South Australian Motor Racing Officials Association. In 2012 the Tarmac Junior Development Program Association of South Australia was formed and became independent of SAMROA.
We would like to thank the SAMROA for their support and getting us started.
Now that we are an association, we are able to issue Motorsport Australia Club memberships and Motorsport Australia competition licenses. This benefits any past Tarmac JDP participants or current volunteers in maintaining their Motorsport Australia Club memberships and Motorsport Australia competition licenses, plus all membership fees go directly back into the program to assist in vehicle maintenance and upgrades.
The Tarmac JDP Assoc. of SA is a volunteer organisation and it’s members donate their time for the benefit of motor sport.
The Tarmac JDP Assoc. of SA is affiliated with Motorsport Australia which is the peak sanctioning body for motor sport in Australia.
